    We are pleased to share details about this month’s release, including a new thematic analysis feature and improvements to the user profile.

    Thematic Analysis in Course Discussions:

    • By utilizing cutting-edge machine learning technology, the cohort learning platform now integrates course discussion themes generated through thematic analysis. This enhancement significantly improves the course discussion experience for learners, admins, and moderators by offering an overview of the topics being discussed by learners. Users can also filter the discussions by clicking on an individual theme to specifically view posts/replies attributed to the theme.     Platform Improvements:

    • User profile improvements
      • Smoother, more efficient user flow when uploading or editing a profile image, reducing confusion and time.
      • Improved ability for admins to edit a user’s profile photo from the admin→members page.

    We are pleased to share details about this month’s release, including updates to our My Team emails and to our automated data exchanges.

    Platform Improvements:

    • The My Team manager email template has been improved based on your feedback! Now for paced courses, on day 1 of a learner’s course, they only appear in the “new courses” section of the email to indicate to their manager that they have started a new course. On day 2 of the course, they appear in the “learner status” section of the email, which indicates if they are on track, behind, or a no show.
    • Our SFTP process for automated learner reporting, user and cohort member management is being updated as part of our initiative to modernize, better monitor, and automate our application and infrastructure. 
    • Variable playback speed is now available for all videos added using JW Player.

    Bug Fixes:

    • Fixed a bug where line breaks included when typing a discussion post/reply were not formatted correctly once the comment was posted.
    • Fixed a bug where some Ping questions’ text fell outside the tile on the community page.
    • Addressed an issue where clicking the Download PDF option in the High Impact Learning Dashboard caused a timeout error.
    • Addressed a bug where clicking links in platform emails caused errors.
    • Fixed an issue where admins were unable to copy a course with a diagnostic activity type.
    • Fixed a bug where the system was incorrectly limiting the file size of any uploads, causing errors.

    We are pleased to share details about this month’s release!

    Platform Improvements:

    • Continuation of modernization and infosec initiatives: Discussions and ping have been updated, enhancing the speed and security of our platform.
    • Discussions: When tagging a user in a comment, the user’s name is highlighted until the user clicks Post.
    • Ping: 
      • Admins can now use font styles (bold, underline, italics) in Ping text
      • The Download button does not display if there are no Ping responses
      • The time countdown includes days, hours, and minutes, providing users a clearer understanding of when the Ping ends
      • A check mark now appears next to the response chosen by the user when on the Ping page
      • Edit and Delete buttons are displayed on the Ping page based on whether or not the Ping has ended
    • Communications:
      • Removed envelope icon on the breakout group general discussion page, providing a clearer path for breakout group members and Moderators to communicate
      • In courses with multiple Moderators, sending a message to Moderators from the course home page now creates individual emails for each Moderator 
    • New infrastructure has been implemented, enabling faster, more secure development and allowing for automated deployment of the application. 

    Upcoming Changes to SFTP Process:

    • If your organization currently receives or sends data to UBLA via SFTP (e.g. users, reports), please note that our process will be changing slightly in the coming weeks. Your UBLA account team will reach out with more information regarding this change.

    • Fixed a vulnerability where cross-site scripting was found as a risk in some app locations.
    • Fixed a bug where some admins were receiving a 403 error and were unable to view learner transcripts.

    Admins now have a simpler, more efficient way to view and download an individual learner’s course performance history with our new learner transcript. Transcripts will be available to Site Owners and Site admins and will be located within Admin Tools → Members → individual user, in a new tab called View Transcript.

    We are pleased to share details about this month’s release, including global backpack capabilities and the migration of our Learning Center to the Udemy Business help center!

    New Global Backpack

    Learners can now view and download all backpack items (notes, reflections, discussions, saved activities) for all courses! The new global backpack can be found in the My Courses page when filtering to courses that have ended.

    Support articles now in the Udemy Business Help Center

    All support articles have been moved to the Udemy Business Help Center and the help center link in the support menu has been updated accordingly. Articles for Leadership Academy contain “Leadership Academy” in the title to distinguish them from other Udemy Business articles.

    For support questions, please leverage the Leadership Academy options in the contact form in the help center, which will create a more streamlined support experience. We will also remove corpu.com support email addresses from the support menu on all sites by June 30 to increase support efficiency.

    We are pleased to share details about this month’s release, focused on improving the email notification experience for learners and modernizing the platform. 

    Platform Improvements:

    • Email Template Improvement: Updated email templates to enhance the learner experience and streamline support.
      • Improved guidance in discussion notifications to help learners better re-engage in course discussions. 
      • Removed the "friendly name" from the sender field on all templates, which previously led to incorrect contact auto-saving.
      • Added a signature field to email template responsible for messages to individual learners.
    • Updated the default name of the featured user group from "Course Moderator" to "Moderator" to align with the term currently used.
    • Enhanced data security and increased page reaction speed in the platform.

    The January 4th release of CorpU delivers a participant experience that now adheres to the accessibility guidelines and principles which are set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The assistive technologies VoiceOver and Lighthouse are used to test the CorpU end-user experience for accessibility and quality. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – are referenceable technical standards that explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities – are stable. These guidelines are organized around the following four principles, which lay the necessary foundation for anyone to access and use web content. These guidelines ensure all content is:

    • Perceivable - all users must be able to perceive the information being presented
    • Operable - all users must be able to operate the interface
    • Understandable - all users must be able to understand and easily operate the interface
    • Robust - all platform features throughout the participant experience  should remain accessible

    This month's release highlights our most recent product improvements to keep you informed about what's new on the platform.

    Updated platform branding

    As you might be aware, Udemy, Inc. acquired CorpU last year. To reflect this change, the CorpU platform will be adopting Udemy’s look and feel. Over the next several months or so, we will be updating the CorpU platform with Udemy branding, such as logos, colors, and fonts. 

    • This month, we replaced the CorpU logo with the Udemy Business logo within the platform and in platform emails. Note: The Udemy logo will not replace your organization’s logo anywhere it is currently used. 

    New Learner Communication Report

    Our new Learner Communication Report provides admins a simple way to view all data that learners have submitted in the system through course activities. With this report, admins can easily review topics covered across the cohort and identify interesting insights or comments to share with leadership during and after a course is delivered. The Learner Communication Report allows admins to…

    This month's release highlights our most recent product improvements and fixes so that you stay informed about what's new on the platform. 

    Improvements

    • Added “Show Less” button in the My Learners section of the My Team dashboard, allowing managers to logically collapse their data view.
    • Display “Never” in the My Team dashboard under “Last Active” for learners that have not yet logged in, giving more clarity to managers regarding a learner’s system usage.

    This month's release highlights our most recent product improvements and fixes so that you stay informed about what's new on the platform. 

    What’s New

    Based on your feedback, we’ve streamlined the course module navigation experience! All modules within a course or program are now visible within the course map, with the current module automatically opened. 

    • Easily view previous and upcoming modules.
    • View the names as well as the start and end dates associated with each module.
    • Open and close a module by clicking the arrow on the left of the module name.

    • Corrected misaligned checkmark when activity is completed.
