We are pleased to share details about this month’s release which have been implemented to provide enhanced security for your data, as well as to increase the page reaction speed in the platform. Specific updates include:
- Transitioned database architecture to the latest AWS cloud technologies
- Updated Admin Tools > Members page to the latest web interface technologies
In the coming months, we will be making additional updates to continue to modernize our code and provide greater security and speed.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue where users show as Active in the detailed Members page, even if they were deactivated.
- Updated timestamp formatting in Admin Tools Members page.
- Fixed issue where the Admin Tools Members search was case sensitive.
- Fixed issue where old fonts and colors appear when deleting a module or lesson with one or more lessons/activities beneath it
- Updated to the Udemy Business logo on the technology test page
- Removed lines around locked course activities in the course map
What’s Next
- Email template improvement: Updating email templates to reduce the number of misrouted support tickets and to enhance the learner experience.
- Improving guidance and calls to action in discussion-based email notifications, helping learners better navigate to discussions to continue the dialogue.
- Standardizing the “from” field across email templates to reduce risk of incorrect auto-saving of contacts by email clients.
- Adding signature block to messages sent to individual users.
- Global backpack (currently in discovery): Single view of all backpack items (notes, reflections, discussion posts, saved activities) from each course backpack, as well as the ability to export specific items to keep as reference outside the platform.
- Continuation of modernization and infosec initiatives: Enhancing the speed and security of our platform.
