We are pleased to share details about this month’s release, focused on improving the email notification experience for learners and modernizing the platform.
Platform Improvements:
- Email Template Improvement: Updated email templates to enhance the learner experience and streamline support.
- Improved guidance in discussion notifications to help learners better re-engage in course discussions.
- Removed the "friendly name" from the sender field on all templates, which previously led to incorrect contact auto-saving.
- Added a signature field to email template responsible for messages to individual learners.
- Updated the default name of the featured user group from "Course Moderator" to "Moderator" to align with the term currently used.
- Enhanced data security and increased page reaction speed in the platform.
- Updated course feedback survey, cohort update activity, and cohort members pages to the latest web interface technologies
What's Next:
- Global backpack: Single backpack for all completed courses accessible via the My Courses page, containing all items (notes, reflections, discussion posts, saved activities) from each course backpack and exportable via CSV.
- Learning center: Migrating the Udemy Business Leadership Academy learning center to the Udemy Business Help Center (HC).
- Updated link in site footer to Udemy Business HC.
- Remove mentions of academysupport@corpu.com and support@corpu.com in support menu.
- Creation of Leadership Academy form fields in contact form in Udemy Business HC.
- Fixing bug where course creators can create a Video activity without selecting or uploading a video, causing an error when learners attempt to access the activity.
- Continuation of modernization and infosec initiatives: Enhancing the speed and security of our platform.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed issue where courses in Preview were not visible to some admins from the course navigation menu in the header.
- Fixed issue where new users cannot be created if they have a plus sign in their email address.
- On May 19, fixed issue that led to data inaccuracies in system dashboards.
