How do I Join or Sign in to my Udemy Business Account?

This article will guide you through joining and signing in to your Udemy Business account for the first time.

  • If you’re encountering issues while trying to login, review these troubleshooting steps for login issues.

You may receive instructions from your account administrator on how to join and sign in to your Udemy Business account. Please note that access to your Udemy Business account can only be granted by the account’s administrator(s).

Important: if you currently have a Udemy.com account using your company email address, we recommend updating your Udemy.com account to a personal email address (i.e., gmail.com, hotmail.com), prior to joining a Udemy Business account.

Accepting an invitation to join Udemy Business

You will receive an email invitation with instructions on how to log in to your company’s Udemy Business account. There will be a specific, custom URL (i.e., {yourcompany}.udemy.com) for your organization that you’ll use to get access to your account.

  1. Once you open the email, click the ‘Start Learning’ button.
  2. You will be prompted to verify your account via a verification email with a link that expires in one hour. Once you’ve activated your account through a verification email, you will be able to follow the prompts to set up your account. We recommend doing so from an Incognito or private browsing window to avoid any issues from your browser’s stored cache or extensions.

Please note that if you are granted access to your company's account via invitation, your browser needs to be configured to send the HTTP Referer header.

Invitations and licenses

Licenses are available on a first-come first-served basis. This means that although you may have received an invitation, you will need to sign up for your account in order to claim your license.

Invitations do not consume a license until the user has signed up for their account. If a license is no longer available by the time the user tries to sign up, the user will land on an error message page. On the error message page they will be asked to contact the administrator who invited them for further assistance.

Remember to check your spam or junk folder

If you are having trouble locating the invitation email in your inbox, be sure to check your spam or junk folder. The invitation is sent from no-reply@e.udemymail.com with the subject line “You’re invited to start learning on {yourcompany}.udemy.com.”

Signing in with single sign-on (SSO)

If your company has enabled single sign-on (SSO) you can access your Udemy Business account via your SSO provider (e.g. Okta, OneLogin, etc) or the custom URL (i.e., {yourcompany}.udemy.com) for the account. If you run into any errors when authenticating via SSO, please check with your organization’s IT department to ensure they have provisioned you access to Udemy Business.
