• How to Search for Courses

This article explains how you can search for courses in the Udemy Business content collection.

What is the Udemy Business content collection?

The Udemy Business content collection includes thousands of courses that are curated from the consumer marketplace (www.udemy.com). We curate the most relevant and high quality courses from the marketplace’s extensive catalog, using a number of criteria, including course ratings, user engagement and demand from all of our customers.

How to search for courses in the Udemy Business collection

There are two ways to search for courses. After you login, you can click on Explore at the top left of the page and select a course topic from the dropdown menu.  Or, you can perform a keyword search in the search bar at the top of the screen.

The keyword search will look for keywords in the course title, subtitle and instructor name. For example, if you are looking for an Excel 2020 course, type in ‘Excel 2020’ instead of ‘Excel’.

To narrow down your results, use the filters on the left hand side of the page.

  • How Courses are Assigned

You can self enroll in as many courses as you’d like. However, your manager may assign a course to you as well. If you are assigned a course, you will receive an email from an Admin letting you know that a course has been assigned to you.

Assigned courses will appear on the homepage of your account, under the Courses section, with an Assigned icon below the course title. Courses will appear in order of most recently assigned. Once you’ve completed an Assigned course, it will be removed from your Courses module.

If an Admin has assigned a Due Date for your assigned course, you will be notified in the email you receive. If you haven’t completed the course, you will also receive a follow up email at the midway point before your due date approaches.

NOTE: At this time, you will not be able to see who assigned you a course in your account. You can see this information, however, in the email you receive notifying you about the course assignment.
