This article outlines how learners can begin a graded lab, submit a screenshot for grading, and review your lab results.

What are graded labs?
Graded labs are a curriculum item where you complete a single task and submit screenshots as evidence of your work. Your submission is then scored automatically, with AI-generated feedback to help you learn and improve your skills.
How to complete a graded lab
1. To start an in-course lab, select a lecture tagged with “Lab” in your Course content.
- Graded labs will appear in your Curriculum with a Graded tag.
2. From the introduction page, you can review the number of tasks, the time limit, and how many attempts you get per day. When you are ready, select Start graded lab.
2. Complete the task(s) in the workspace. When you are done, take a screenshot of your completed work, and upload the screenshot on the right-hand side of your screen.
Please note:
- Please make sure your screenshot clearly shows the work described in the task instructions. Your submission is scored on the evidence visible in the screenshot.
- Each screenshot must be no larger than 20MB. You can upload a maximum of 5 screenshots at a time.
- The AI Assistant tab is disabled for Graded Labs.
3. When you’re finished, click Submit lab to send your work for grading.
Review your graded lab results
On the Results page, your most recent attempt is expanded by default with your score, an insight, and AI-generated feedback.
Please note:
- Evaluation criteria may evolve over time.
- Screenshot preview or expansion isn't available yet, so you won't be able to click into your uploaded screenshots.
You can also review your full attempt history below your score.
Retry option for graded labs
If you've used your attempts for the day, the Retry button is disabled with a message or countdown until your next attempt is available (attempts reset every 24 hours).
